yo joo is like that with han kyul bc she has friendzoned him. it's implied that during the years her and the male second lead were broken up, han kyul already confessed to her and she declined. it's quite implied in the narrative as well, she treats him as a little brother and she knows he likes her and she finds it endearing but obv she loves the male second lead. han sung on the other hand develops genuine feelings for eunchan and she can see it which is why she's a little sus. they joke about having gfs and bfs but don't take it srsly. they're supposed to be the mature couple stereotype so both eunchan and han gyeol seem like kids flirting to them for majority of the show. DK is her ex that she's friends with i think? overall she's characterized to be a free spirit that gets along with everyone so don't take her interactions with ppl srsly cause no one in the show takes it as cheating bc they know what kind of person she is. only person who does is eunchan bc she doesn't know her that well or know hers and hansung's relationship that well.
