The more I listen to this podcast, the more I think the greatest guest in the history of the show will be the infamous Todd.... please bring Todd on the show

Yes. Good one to rewatch. It’s been awhile. Often overlooked

Have you seen “Bodies, Rest, and Motion” ?

James Reeves

Did he really totally miss your Black Panther point or was he just playing games? Weird.

Would love a review of 90’s films. Oddly nostalgi tight now. Just watched Singles and Kicking and Screaming.

This saved my Memorial Day! Great promotion, gonna go binge all these eps. I think we often think of 67-76 as the golden age of cinema, but you’re right to take it all the way to 1980.

Matt Brown

I'd say you're right. Definitely from last fall.

We had like a VHS renta craze going on in my youth, and our gang would rent a bunch of film we never would be able to see at cinema, and binge watch at one of our livingrooms. I remember I started writing down in a notebook all the films we watched and giving the films short critipues. It fizzeled out thou and my interest went full tilt into top notch karate competitive level at the highest order.

Altered States is the first R-rated movie I saw. I chose it because it was rated R and I just gotten permission to watch R-ratedvmovies (i turned 10 in Oct of 1980). I only remember hearing them saying "fuck" and being totally shocked that I wasn't illegal to do so.

James Dardis

Oh boy how fucking generous is Bret today thank you bret

Mike Hass

One of the best!

Terrance
