I thought your comments about wanting the Hockney painting for the cover of LESS THAN ZERO was fascinating. What a brilliant idea. Perfect - for many reasons. Now I know this, the various other covers look crap. Maybe a new edition? Also, Bret - have you seen 'Modus' series 1 - a recent Swedish / Norwegian series about a serial murderer targeting gay men and women. It would be great to get your take on this - the characterizations, politics, etc. Thanks. Looking forward to your reaction to Once Upon a Time ...

A new episode for the heatwave this weekend would be splendid.

First time commenting. I absolutely love this podcast. Presently it’s the only one I listen to. B.E.E. is a hero, a legend, and I’m so pleased that he’s sharing his thoughts with us in this fashion. If he doesn’t live to be 100 years old, I’m gonna be really pissed off.

Peter litvin

i can’t wait for a Midsomar review.

Michael Glaberman

The essay/monologue on this one is awesome! Really enjoyed it

Adam Robinson

Enough with the Eagles. They’re only relevant in your nostalgia trips, Bret.

Wait, it's not Tom Ford? 😁Despite being momentarily disappointed I ended up really liking this episode and the guest. I'm currently about to launch a fashion/beauty brand I've been working on for almost two years and it was so interesting to hear his perspective on the fashion industry, sales and the reality of the business. Couldn't agree more with Bret about Rocketman, which I enjoyed, but I had the same views on the constant jerkiness of the movie. If only the whole thing could have had the depth of the Your Song scene. That simple scene was magic to watch.

Loved the David Hockney segment the most. Please keep this reg podcast schedule going - it’s like air!!! Wouldn’t mind weekly eps but I get it

Funny that, a few days ago, a friend and I agreed that Euphoria (which we both like), has (to us) an HBO-execs meets early-BEE feel.

Interesting view that young people view TV that showcases their values. As I young person, I can tell you I do not. Most of my favorite shows or shows I've recently finished do not share my values at all, but I've liked the story and characters very much. See - Euphoria.

Sutter Kaine

You summarised my exact thoughts and feelings about 'Rocketman.' It was very gay and had some touching moments, but was gaudy and contrived. As a fellow gay man, I too am sick of the way queer culture has been corporatised and turned bland -- it's sickening!

Joseph Misuraca

Yes, definitely, would love to hear what Bret thinks of it. I had read a bad review or two about it, and that Vanessa Paradis acting was questionable - but I thought she was great and liked the movie a lot.

Augustine Curtis

Hey Bret, I don't know if you read these, but saw a movie called 'Knife+Heart' recently and thought it would be right up your alley. It's a giallo throwback set in a gay porn studio in the late 70's, the lead, the porn producer / director tries to deal with the murders happening around her by turning it into art. Specifically a porn movie called 'Homo-cidal'. Hope you check it out, would love to hear your thoughts.
