Announcing B.E.E. Podcast Platinum Membership Reward Tier
Added 2018-07-03 22:40:16 +0000 UTCHello listeners! In order to introduce a live, interactive element to the podcast, today we are launching a new $10 Platinum reward tier! We will be livestreaming online Q&A sessions with Bret + guests right after we record the episodes, and Platinum members will be able to view the streams AND ask Bret and the guests questions. Gold members will be able to view the streams, but will not be able to actively participate and ask questions. The first livestream Q&A will be this Thursday, 7/5 around 6pm Pacific Time, and they will stream around the same time every other Thursday after that. Platinum members will also enjoy access to recorded video replays of the livestream Q&A's, while Gold members will only be able to stream them live. We've been having a great time releasing new episodes regularly here on Patreon and we're thrilled to be adding this cool new element to the show. We love all of you gorgeous people!

2024-02-05 08:04:47 +0000 UTCI was about fire off a defensive reply but you actually made some good points. You can fight back against corporate groupthink and punch some serious holes in their fleet, with the heated shot of incisive thinking. They aren't nearly as powerful as you might imagine, once you develop the right approach to cutting through the bullshit and winning some converts.

2018-07-16 07:15:22 +0000 UTCplease stop complaining about corporate culture telling you what you can say and what you can’t. that sounds like generation wuss. thanks to the internet there are soo many ways to find your audience and make money of it. IF there is an audience for what you offer. disney has certain rules, stupid or not, and pewdiepie has every choice to take their money and act accordingly, or not. also: it’s a difference between fiction and your authentic self (which all the influencers/youtubers whatever claim to be). that said, love your work. greetings from vienna.

2018-07-05 19:51:33 +0000 UTCCan’t say what will happen yet, but likely you would be given ample notice and we would rework some of the rewards and tiers to best serve everyone’s needs.

2018-07-05 15:08:33 +0000 UTCI'm not asking completely rhetorically. I probably could afford $240/year for a platinum membership, depending on how many platinum members crowd the live stream Q&A pool and how thoroughly Bret addresses everyone's questions each stream. But, hypothetically speaking, what would happen if the podcast grew exponentially in popularity and you moved to a weekly schedule? Would the episode charges shift proportionally, or perhaps go to a monthly model? I suspect it's more likely that the opposite happens and that Bret takes a few hiatuses where nobody gets charged, but just some questions I have as someone who might be able to just barely justify a platinum membership at $10.

2018-07-04 17:48:44 +0000 UTCSo essentially a platinum membership would be $20/month based on a bi-weekly streaming schedule?
