Comments

I'm so happy to hear Brett's thoughts again, after 4 years. I am listening oldest-to-newest. Some of this comes across as prophetic. We didn't know how good we had it in 2018. I really miss Trump now.

Dave Rubin would be good. Joe Rogan as well lets the conversation flow without artificial time limits.

Really enjoyed the IDW discussion. I’d love to hear Bret on Dave Rubin to discuss further. This Medium post I wrote might help clarify what sounded like some points of confusion from that discussion...particularly terminology. https://medium.com/p/26a325426ae1?source=linkShare-f549eb312c-1526616056

Grateful to have your show back! Agree that AssassinationofGV was magnificent. Original, atmospheric, haunting, hilarious, heartbreaking. But, when Cunanan had his potential victim duct taped and helpless on the bed as he danced to “Easy Lover” by Phil Collins, I felt a little protective of you and your earlier work. A healthy bit of homage or basic theft?

I loved this. Also riffing with Adam is great. I feel like I'm deep in IDW as it is, and it's great to sort of step back from it. I'm a big literature fan as well, and would love to hear more riffs on that. BJ Novak talking about Philip Roth back in 2014 was pure pornography.

This was one of the best comments in this history of comments. - B.A.

Bret's voice was custom-made for the podcast medium, and I love the way BEE's style engages me where I want to have a conversation with him as he's speaking. BEE: I'd be curious to hear your observations of the Alt-Reich and their poster-boy, Richard B Spencer. RBS always struck me in manner and style (think 80s wayfarers) as someone straight out of a BEE novel; and, coincidentally, he was friends with Stephen Miller at Duke whom BEE wanted to write a novel about and found 'completely compelling'. Another solid podcast BEE, keep up the solid work.

This was the best episode of the Patreon-era episodes so far. If you plan to feature guests again, perhaps Ben Fritz might be interesting? I'm sure I wasn't the only person who bought 'The Big Picture' after listening.

Bill Ackerman

This was one of the best episodes in the history of the podcast.

Dave Durbin

just finished, another great episode.

BTW: I like the new photo you’re using - of Bret - for the app.

James Reeves

Great podcast. Love the relevant topics on SNL, Glover, Tully, IDW, and Bret Weinstein Evergreen fiasco. We need more voices willing to showcase legitimate criticism to these corporate products. Ideology is not interesting.

Rob Motto

Good way to start the work day.

Sean M.

shout-out to whomever edits the music interludes, and for the timely Frightened Rabbit nod. 💔

Yes! Yes! Yes! Thank you!
