For Your Eyes Only Part 3

Sorry for the long gap, folks. Sometimes life gets in the way. This show has been going for something like ten years now. And I want to keep doing it forever. But it is a time-consuming project, and I much prefer putting out an episode I love when we have one, then just getting something up every two weeks. I can be tough on myself when I don't deliver on any project on time, but I also need to have patience with myself, and just be honest that this show takes a bit more time and energy to make than I have to spare sometimes. And sometimes when I have the time and energy for it, we just can't get four busy professionals scheduled at the same time. I don't want to promise any specific dates, but just know that we still love this show and we would like it to be biweekly, and when it's possible for us, that's the cadence we'll release it at.

This is the last For Your Eyes Only episode, and I can't express how much of a joy this movie has been for me to run. Carolyn's James Bond is an inspired creation. I want to make a legit James Bond movie with her in the role, maybe do it Kung Pow style and edit her into an actual obscure spy movie. There's a unique comedy in it because Carolyn is so authentically trying to do her best. She is not trying to tear down the movie or make fun of it. But the miscast of Carolyn's scatter-brained earnestness in the role of this suave cynic just works so well for me. Also, I should call out that Kara and Andy really made this made-up characters their own, and made them immediately iconic to me. For Your Eyes Only is, let's be honest, kind of an unmemorable movie, so it was a good one for us to fully go off the rails into a different part of the world. I don't feel like I denied anyone the opportunity to hear their favorite scenes played out.
