Hi everybody!

What a week, huh? None of us can deny that there are many changes happening all at once right now, and stability seems hard to find. I know so many of you have expressed love and thanks for the invite to join us at our screwball table over the years—especially in hard times. And depending on your background, these might feel like pretty hard times.

That's why I wanted to reach out and say, we're here for you. We're not going anywhere. I know the last two months have been slower than I usually like to aim for, but that's also because a lot of life has been happening to and around us, from happy life changes to the aftermath of the West Coast fires. Thank you, again, so much, for continuing to support our podcast. In doing so, you are providing a vital, stable lifeline that enables us to keep creating for you. It makes me a little sniffly to look back and see that in an era of quick content, advertising revenue deciding continuation or cancellation, and general mean-spirited couch commentary, here you all are consistently affirming an inclusive, supportive, and playful community. And while these recent waves of sudden political change have the potential to divide us further, we cannot let confusion, fear, and shows of power trick us into hating, alienating, or leaving anyone behind. Not at our table. For now, write, call, resist, question, humanize, gather, activate. And we'll be back next month with more silliness to give you a little escapist break. I promise.
