Tremors (Part 1)

This one was such silly fun. It's funny how an episode's tone is sort of a collective act. We never really decide it, we kind of find it out as we're going. Tremors is a silly movie, but it's also kind of taking itself seriously, at face value. So the tone of the Reroll was not entirely clear to me going in, but then within the first couple scenes it was 100% clear that this was going to be a batshit one and I needed to match that energy. Which I tried my best to do. I should probably let Joz describe her process, but it was very thorough, and she created a world that was very fun to play in.

I'll keep this one short; we're gonna drop episode two tomorrow, most likely. Our various worlds have been all sorts of madness, and any sense of keeping a regular Reroll schedule have gone by the wayside, though we're doing our best. Joz's puppy-dog has had surgery recently, and I know that was stressful. I got married this week. I've been in a throuple for the past four years and we managed to do a beautiful wedding that represented us and our unique lives in a lovely way. It proved to be completely easy and natural. But it's always a little nervewracking to do anything the least bit non-standard, and wonder how the more remote ends of various families will react. It turns out, with nothing but love.

It was fun to bring in a less regular cast. It was a new mix of energies. These are all Joz regulars. Jonathan and Alana are such awesome people to play with and at this point I've hung out with them enough to consider them friends, but I know both of them through Joz. Mason has been so impressive every time we've had him on, but I've never actually met him in person. He's only been on remote episodes of the show. Excited to share part 2 of this wild ride with you very very soon.
