Update - and an Abby lookalike?

Morning all! 🌤️ Or whatever it is where ever you are! 😊

And if you're an Englisher like me, happy Jubilee bank holiday! 🎉

Saw this article yesterday, and immediately thought of Abby, so I had to share it, along with some thoughts and an update.

Some of you may know (I think I've mentioned in comments) that Abby - and indeed the whole lady wot lunched story - came from seeing a young lady walk past the office I used to work in one day, much as Peter sees her in Chapter 1.

Since then, her look has morphed and evolved in my mind (and the pics I've tried to create) quite a bit. Sometimes I think of her as being a bit Kim Kardashian; other times more Megan Foxy. Then recently it's been Camila Mendes, especially in her Veronica Lodge guise.

But when I saw this young lady I immediately thought: Wow! She totally has a look of Abby about her. Of course, the lovely Aliana is somewhat leaner than our gluttonising antagonist. But before Abby started doubling down on the Michelin lunches (burp!) I imagine her looking quite a bit like this.

Funny thing is: having seen these pics, I've been making much better progress on the next chapter, after feeling a little stuck and uninspired for a while. It's weird how the slightest thing can have that effect: an pic online, or seeing someone's expression in the street. All of a sudden a switch flips in the brain and the creativity motors are whirring and humming again.

Anyway...  interested to know what we all think? Is this how you imagine Abby? Is there another celebrity or look that you have in mind? Does your image of her change over time?

• Next chapter of TLWL (at about 70% but might split it up for quicker releases)
• Amazon Queen Sophie sequence with Kewlkidz
• Next chapter of Kari's Life in Lockdown (almost done)
• A mystery pic featuring a returning character - oooh!
• Next chapter of The Perfect Dress

All of which, by the way, is inspired and made possible by your incredibly generous support: so thank you so much! 😊 I know I don't post frequently enough, and it must seem at times like there isn't much going on, but I write every morning at the moment (and some evenings) and I promise there's lots of meaningful progress being made.
