I hope everyone's keeping well in these crazy times.
This month I've been mostly focusing on writing the next part of The Perfect Dress. However, I found time to knock up a little pic of Abby in her own perfect dress - a sort of visual preview to the next chapter of the lady wot lunched.
Encased in shimmering silk, on her way to stick her fork into a gourmet buffet and her knife into the flabby backs of her irritating underlings Gemma and Holly, could this be Abby at her zenith? Is our greedy protagonist going to keep getting everything she wants, or start getting everything she deserves?
I'm quite pleased with how this one came out, but as usual couldn't decide on which filter was best, so included some alternate versions. Let me know if you have a preference.

I don't want to give anything away, but I think it's unlikely that the girls will have gotten any smaller. I'm very flattered by your offer of a commission! Right now I'm trying to finish off a few writing projects, and I've got a very busy month work-wise in Jan. However, I'd be open to suggestions in Feb, if that's okay with you?

I'm doing my usual thing of flitting between too many different projects rather than knuckling down and finishing them off. Work has been absurdly busy this year, with all the Covid stuff (though I shouldn't complain too much: others have been far worse affected than me) but I have been writing quite a lot behind the scenes. Thanks for being so patient!
