I am leaving this patreon site because I really don’t care for Baumgartener’s condescending, holier-than-previous-conservators attitude. People usually do the best they can with what experience and resources they have at their disposal. There is truly no need to denigrate their attempts. We already know what a great restorer he is. He doesn’t need to keep trying to make himself look better by criticizing those who worked before him.
