Without compromising on plot, I am curious if people prefer more linear style of presentation or if people prefer gameplay elements like corruption points etc. Please comment your thoughts as well as vote.

Elements like corruption points work well if going for multi-dimensional development of girls where they can develop in different ways. If there's only one way a girl can go and it's only a matter of getting a certain number of points to meet a threshold for her next level, it's just grind.
