April 2022 Short Story Poll, redux
Added 2022-04-11 20:29:45 +0000 UTC(Accidentally messed up the original poll, made it available to all tiers- this one should only be available to the correct tiers.)
I'm back in civilization from the depths of rural Kansas! Actually got a couple of short stories written while I languished without internet on my mom's farm- On Magical Swords and Who Killed Seltivor Cloudscale?
Y'all know the drill! (And while I'd prefer if you vote for one of the already written ones, it's fine if you want The Castle Thief. (You'll just probably get it at the end of the month, after book 6 comes out, rather than before book 6, like the other two.)
- On Magical Swords: An exchange of open letters between Kanderon Crux and the Lord of Bells, sent via the Ctesian Enchanter’s Society, on the future of enchantment as a field. (Already written)
- The Castle Thief: Solintus the Patient is ironically named, because he’s anything but patient. What he wants, he gets, and he’s sent his servant Lane to the frigid karst city of Calo’s Watch to negotiate the purchase of the city’s fortress. Lane has a week until Solintus arrives, and one way or another, their master is taking the castle away with him. Something is rotten in Calo’s Watch, though, and it’s not the peat mines.
- Who Killed Seltivor Cloudscale?: In the waning days of the Ithonian Empire, bandits and rogue great powers swarm like flies in its provinces. Seltivor Cloudscale was one of the worst of the lot, performing daring raids deep into the heart of the Ithonian Empire, and earning himself a bounty large enough to buy a small city. When the dragon is finally slain, though, there’s one problem:
No less than a dozen mages claim to have been the one to do it. (Already written)
