Why is everyone blaming Woody for a problem that's obviously YouTube's fault?

It's a consistent issue every week and maybe once on a good week we'll get a working link which just needs 30 minutes to process. They pretty clearly don't put much effort into this venture other than making another podcast for an hour a week which sometimes barely even hits the hour. They also monetize PKN with ads while we pay ten bucks a month for the video link, yet on the itunes store it's free weekly. They say they're looking for something to do for reaching the 15k patreon goal. Obviously any reasonable person should be okay with them not doing any inperson meet ups during a pandemic. But I think maybe 2 or 3 months ago they mentioned that they are thinking of doing something different with the 15k patreon goal which is fine I don't think most people wanted animated stories unless they were bible stories but they haven't mentioned almost anything else about it since then. We essentially are just giving these dudes money for things we could get for free and they don't deliver on the promises they've made nor have they been transparent enough with us. They instead of figuring out the 15k patreon goal decided to make a 7+ pill supplement breakfast to make your cum be more volumptious it might have been somewhat funny as a bit but who is seriously going to waste their money on that when most of the fan base is filled with fertile big load producing young men. The whole patreon aside from the 50 dollar a month one seems like a fuckin joke and a waste of money. Edit: Just came here to cancel my subscription maybe once they fix the patreon bullshit and make these ranks actually worth something I'll decide to spend my money here.

I’m new to the patreon, but a lot of you all seem pretty misunderstanding of people you like enough to pay to listen to. It’s not the end of the world if a link doesn’t work once in awhile. Also the more negativity you put into the patreon comments, the less likely they will be to be responsive to their patrons, just my opinion though

This is how people run businesses: pay someone $1000 to figure out your uploading processing delay. Don't you know about project management from your "EXPERIENCE AT CISCO" which you use as a crutch every podcast?

I gave them the benefit of the doubt at first, but every other longform podcast I watch has no problems with uploads, even ones that go for hours. If woodster or whoever is uploading is using the raw file, then thats truly braindead. If this was my job and it really is on YouTube's end, I would find a way to at least upload the show in parts. Just use some critical thinking skills and its pretty easy to fix the problem.

I’m getting really disappointed, I’ve been defending the processing bitching for a few months now. Giving woody the benefit of the doubt that it isn’t his fault, but this is the ONLY podcast that posts the link for the episode 6-24 hours before it’s even ready to watch. You guys make almost 20k a Month now off us and you can’t even sit and let the video render before sending us our links to watch. RSK for life but I hope woody realizes how fucked it is to give us a link that has no set time for upload.

The problem is pea brain woody trying to upload the 4 hour long multi gig file to YouTube without rendering or editing it all so YouTube then has to do all the converting and processing you would normally do before upload while it’s processing.

Idk if the problem is with YouTube of something the guys are doing but I’m personally getting sick of this processing issue. I pay to get it early mainly so I can listen to it Friday mornings and bc of this I sometimes don’t get back around to it until Sunday or Monday and if that’s gonna be the case why bother paying?

Fix the processing issue. This is ridiculous. Don’t post until you can actually watch it.

This processing error has occurred every week for at least a month or two. Any way we can figure out this issue to allow us to watch the video on Thursday? Edit: Well, it appears this issue has been reported a number of times already. I'm sure the gang is working on it.
