Weekly Update! (2020/11/30)

Hey everyone!

Things are moving along decently, at the moment! I’m working on both Various Happenings and The Adventures of Clara Cosmos currently, so hopefully I’ll have something to show soon as far as either goes! I’m in the layout phase of both; I’ve gotten about halfway through Ch.5 in Various Happenings and I’ve finished scripting the first dozen or so strips for Clara, so it’s coming along nicely, I think!

I’ve been a little sick as of late, so my energy’s been a bit low, but things are moving forward nonetheless!

Unfortunately, some issues have come up with my dental insurance, so I might have to start tracking my dental expenses goal-wise and taxes are coming up, too (though I’ve been setting money aside for that), but once those are done I’m going to start putting money aside for a new computing rig and art station. I’m looking into what I want in it, then I’ll try and figure out the exact parts, and then the general price from there!

Probably going to be a lot of SotS-ing in the future to facilitate this stuff, but it’ll be a good investment! o.o!

I’ve already mentioned this on the Discord, but I’m removing the Wobbles as a Patreon / SubscribeStar award and adding a 5% discount to commissions and SotS for $10 patrons and a 10% discount for $20 patrons.

Remember, until we get five subscribers over on SubscribeStar, you will have to renew your subscription manually. It’s still kind of hard to keep up with how much each person has given, so hopefully they’ll get some better management tools sometime soon!

Everything else is trucking along, of course! The current discounts are still up, and there will be a 10% off discount for winter themed items starting December 1st, as well!

I’ll also be opening up three (3) Standard commission slots on Wednesday, Dec. 2nd at 3PM EST/ 12PM PST and they will remain open until Dec. 7th at 3PM EST/ 12PM PST. At that point I’ll vet the submissions and contact the ones that interest me the most. If I like your submission, but don’t have room, I’ll keep it in a document and contact you if I have a slot that opens up or I have time for more as the month goes on.

However, if you don’t mind get a sketch, doot or wobble, I encourage you to join me for Sketch on the Spot! We’ll be having a number of those as the month progresses (I’m hopin’!)

So that’s the plan! That’s what’s going on. I’ve still got a lot of wobbles and old patron sketches to do, and I know a lot of you want stuff for the holiday season, so it’s going to be a busy month!

Still, I’m excited and glad to be getting back to work. I hope I’ll see you all around, and I hope you’re enjoying the holiday season, for what it’s worth. <3
