Makes sense; the Citadel is all about extensive learning and preparation, particularly as a war mage. (Also makes sense for a campaign that probably isn’t going to go through the motions of constantly looking for spell scrolls to copy. She has her own library.)

No need to limit yourself! You too can pick your spell list depending on your mood (and whether you choose Violence like Suvi haha)
