I'm a bit biased (as literally the creator of I Have the High Ground) but I'm honored to see some of the excitement for it above and if I may quickly pitch why I think I Have the High Ground would be a great fit: 1. It can be played in any genre—I've seen it used for everything from dance competitions to superhero showdowns to lesbian ex drama at a Halloween party 2. You can easily use it to play out a scene with existing characters from another storyline elsewhere in the podcast, if you want! 3. It can be played in a tight 2-3 hour one shot, or 1-2 hours if you decide to import existing characters rather than using the full character creation process 4. More than anything, I think this is the perfect cast to bring the level of melodrama appropriate for a game entirely about the banter & posturing *before* a fight. It's honestly astounding to imagine what any two WBN cast members would do with this game. Speaking just on the ones I know a bit about: Moonlight on Roseville Beach! It's queer puplp novels and cosmic horror! I think it'd be perfect for WBN. Also Skeletons! Skeletons is fascinating and I'd love to hear y'all play it. Barkeep on the Borderlands sounded super entertaining when I checked it out at the Plus One XP booth at Gencon. That one would probably a real good comedy one-shot. Transgender Deathmatch Legend is neat, but is heavily focused on just combat, so I don't think it would work super well. Lighthouse at the End of the World is also cool, but is a journaling RPG that revolves a lot around solitude. Similarly, Beak, Feather & Bone and the Claw Atlus add-on are amazing, but I imagine wouldn't work super well as a podcast because people wouldn't be able to see the city map. It's also less about roleplaying characters and more about filling in the story of a city by describing the buildings. Damn, I wish y'all had grabbed Crash Cafe, Meanwhile, In the Subway or Wishless, but you still got a lot of cool stuff!
