On Patreon and The Current State of Things

So, I've finally read up on the changes happening and I understand that this sort of thing is going to be rather bad for Patrons in general, especially if you tend to support a lot of people with low-level donations.

I've already had a couple of people expressing their desire to pull their pledges, and I completely understand.  It's an unfortunate situation and since Patreon worked best as a micro-donation aggregate where a bunch of people could get together and throw in a little for their favorite creators to add up to a lot, it seems that this is going to negatively impact a lot of people.

I know I haven't been the best creator on Patreon for sure.  I've struggled and I haven't made good on everything I do.  I try my best, though, and I know a lot of you have expressed that you're here just to help me out and to keep on trucking and all that.  That means so much to me, I can't express it completely.

I know a lot of you are small donators, so if things get bad over this next month, I have been considering pulling the Patreon for more... traditional method, anyway.  Things like wallpaper wars and donation voting.  Old school stuff that's more direct.  So, we'll see how things go, and if any of you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know.

If the lot of you do decide to pull your pledges out of necessity or principle, I do not blame you and don't feel bad.  I've been privileged to have your support for these last few years and I hope you continue to follow my work and enjoy what I do.  This means anyone who has and is currently supporting me on Patreon, as well as those of you who have donated individually.
