[devlog] The state of the game and a sneak peak on some CGs (sort of)!

First of all, the update is coming soon. The date is still set for April, and I'll do everything I can to meet that deadline! Now there are a few small changes I'd like to tell you about.

First of all, regarding the CGs you see about morgane getting fingered, this is level 3 of Morgane's “bring new clients” task from the job phase! Why am I spoiling the whole thing? Well, because unfortunately there won't be an update for the job part, as originally planned.

There are several reasons for this. First of all, time! If I had to create a new scene for each task for each girl, it would significantly delay the release of the update which is already quite late.

But believe it or not, that's not the main reason, far from it. The problem I'm facing is that we're on the last update of chapter 2, and in chapter 3 there will be major changes to the storyline. So I find myself in this limbo where the scenes can't be too “lewd” otherwise it would spoil the progression of Chapter 3, which in theory should be more depraved than the other two since the game follows a “corruption” type evolution, but if the scenes aren't lewd enough then the interest is rather minimal, and making players go back to the “job” phase to play the same mini-game a third time and just to get scenes that are too "restricted" by the story, I don't think the frustration/reward ratio will be worth it.

That's why I decided not to add a new level to the “job” for this release, and to focus on the story so we can finally move on to chapter 3 and get down to serious business, with much more freedom in the scenes!

However, I have already made scenes for the job phase, so I will post them on Patreon like this one in a few days, with the context and the related task.

Context of this scene:
