[weekly post] Scenes from the 2.5 that were not included

2.5 was a real construction site with several parts of the gameplay completely changed, the story rewritten several times... And among these changes, there were also scenes that never saw the light of day.

This one in particular was not chosen because it was too similar to scene 2 of Morgane's stall 2, and because it required a little too much work on its own. (I had planned a little “rhythm game” sequence with the arrows on your keyboard, but after a few tests I quickly realized that no one wanted that in a sex game, not even me, who loves mini-games).

It was Morgane who was challenged by a guy at Dance Dance Revolution (an arcade game where you have to tap in rhythm with the music with your feet on arrows on the floor), and where she kept losing, receiving a penalty each time. This was her third defeat, the first three penalties being to take off her clothes, and she was obviously full of hatred at these multiple defeats.

This notion of “dares/defeat sex” is something that I I personally really appreciate. I think it leads to some cool scenes (like the one with Elaine and Morgane on the training course), but unfortunately the E-Thots setting doesn't allow for that much development, being more of a "Slice of LIfe" type of game.

But if it's something you like, let me know and I'll keep it in a corner of my mind!

I actually just phrased it wrong. When I said “defeat scenes”, it's Morgane who suffers the defeat, not a scene that appears after the player has lost. I was talking about scenes that involve “dares” and that are imposed on the losers. In this case, for example, we could have played the competitor's POV and tried to win to make Morgane lose. I also don't like it when we have to deliberately lose to get a scene, it defeats the purpose of a video game! Also in response to the comment from Mike just below, who raised the same point

Jokes on you, I'd definitely want a Rhythm game in a sex game. I'd easily win and never get lewd scenes though.

Please don't design the minigames in a way that forces us to obtain what we want (lewd scenes) by intentionally losing. It kind of defeats the purpose for me.

That sounds like a good idea. I like being able to put my thumb on the scale for these things. Love the scenes too

I think the dares/defeat system is actually a pretty good idea, maybe it just needs to be implemented in a different way
