What a naughty girl [Devlog]

Hi boys. I know I haven't posted much this month, sorry! But even if I haven't posted, the work has never stopped (or maybe a bit at the beginning of the month... Oops!).

In any case, the update is almost ready and will be out in no time, say for Halloween!

This update (2.4) will be the penultimate in Chapter 2, and will aim to "wrap up" current events before the anime convention update (2.5), which will in turn make way for Chapter 3 (3.1).

There are also a few cool new features, like a gallery that's been asked for a lot. It's been more of a challenge than I thought to implement it, and I'm glad it's finally ready.

The first difficulty with this updata was that, as the game progressed, the things that had to be loaded at the start of launch became increasingly heavy, to the point where even I on my trusty machine would encounter bugs if I opened an application in the first few seconds after loading a savegame. That's why there's now a fun little loading screen when you load a save. It only appears once in the game per save loaded, so it's not particularly invasive!

The second was the emotes that the girls use. They're all from Etsy, which I bought for a handful of euros, but it was getting more and more annoying to use them since, firstly, they don't belong to me so I can't even send them to you, and secondly they're made by I.A.

That's why I've hired an artist (the same one who does all the chibis visible in game) to redo ALL the emotes by hand! Expensive but worth it. And as a result, the emotes will be distributed for free when the update comes out and will be available for anyone to use.

As for the story, we can expect quite a lot of content between Morgane and Lucas, but also, as always, between the characters themselves. I won't spoil the fun for anyone, so let's just leave it at that!
