But the thing is the Langtu couple story only progresses after the whole dinner with brother for Huasheng couple. Essentially nothing has been going on for the langtu couple for the 3-4 weeks where Gao Tu is transfering the workload and finally leaves the company. But all that we saw in ep 13 and 14 for HuaSheng couple happens in that time gap. Hence why we saw so little of them. But we will definitely have a lot more screen time and actual progress for Gao Tu and Wenlang in the next episode. My issue is they could have had 2 more episodes (18 in total) so that they could properly flesh out the second couple when their timeline happens - which is after Hua & Sheng are happily in a relationship and settled. But with just two more episodes they are gonna squeeze in everything. Or i hope they will give us special episodes. The novel itself has so little of the second couple, they are barely there in the main plot cuz their story is only a focus in the extra chapters. They gave the couple more screentime compared to the novel so far, but still wish they had done more and adapted the 2nd couple story a little differently.
