2024-09-27 04:05:07 +0000 UTCThere were definitely Team Ikuo fans but we didn't want to get doxxed. Glad Netflix did this show but the shippers behavior of treating this like a BL drama before/after truly left a bad taste in my mouth.

2024-09-26 20:23:48 +0000 UTCI think people were shipping them because of Dai's determination from day one, just like the roomies in His Man, they liked Dai and wanted him to persevere like the roomies did. I didn't "ship" them but I wanted to wait and hold judgement until the end to see if Shun had some personal growth and could get over his fear. Shun needed Dai to not come on so strong and once he set boundaries, Dai cooled it a little and moved at a pace Shun could accept and process and it was slow and painful and dramatic but he was able to breathe enough to consider his possible feelings and the arrival of Ikuo pushed him further to make his decisions. He's a drama queen but I understand his behavior a bit more. I hope you won't be hateful of him until the end just because of shippers cuz being all "I'm Dai×Ikuo" and all nasty to Shun isn't any different in my opinion. They also left a ton of footage out apparently that showed Shun in a little better light because what they have now makes for better drama. It's a tv show, after all, believe only about 65% of what they show us cuz editing can paint a whole 'nother narrative. And knowing that whatever you say and do will be seen by thousands upon thousands of people can make someone clam up and act differently or appear more cold. I'd be hella nervous and unable to act normal so my personality would seem vastly different than who I actually am. Side note though, I LOVED seeing Shun squirm and jealous, homeboy was in denial and having to come to terms with his feelings hahaha. And I hate to say it but I find Kazuto cute but a bit boring. I adore Alan ❤️❤️❤️
