2024-04-18 20:12:43 +0000 UTCI think and don't know if you caught it but earlier in the episode he said was ot funny when you made a bet about if I would run away with you on the train..the professor asked him if he knew and said it was true there was a bet but he's feelings were true. That's why I think he talked about him betraying him and is why he never showed up to the train because he knew about the bet. Also I have been waiting since the first two episodes and beginning of this one for you to say "slap him" and you finally said it towards the end and I was like "YES" 🤣

Miyata felt betrayed when found out that Iwanaga had a bet with his friends that Miyata wouldn’t show up at the train station. So he didn’t show up thinking Iwanaga wasn’t serious about eloping, but we learnt that Iwanaga was serious, he just didn’t want to hope it would happen, so he bet against his hopes. Anyway, I love this show. It’s brilliant! 🤩
