I liked the way they handled the age difference. And props to the actor who played Toki, all his over-the-top live-action anime moments seemed perfectly appropriate for the character.

I thought we'd get to see their relationship develop, even though it weirded me out with the whole teacher/student thing. If it's below university level, the legality of teacher/student relationship centered shows bothers me. Once legal age is established, and there's no more power imbalance, then I'm okay with it. But that's my thing. I still wanted more episodes. Though it's never said, i wonder if the lady at the beginning, originally told Nekodo about Sahara's Olympic potential to split them up. She basically said she knew they had feelings for each other, and had said that she saw their confession on graduation day. It's just a thought though. And I just love that Sahara wanted Toki's confession AFTER he figured out what to do with his future. That is so loving. One pf the best things in a relationship is when your partner WANTS to help you realize your dreams and support you in them. Sahara is a real hero for that. Loved this reaction.
