Secondly, I read the synopsis and saw the pilot trailer, and still totally didn't expect the car death/aftermath of the little girl to be so early and to actually be seen on screen. I didn't see To Sir With Love, so this is my first intro to the 2 leads, but I def can say the guy who plays Charn def is doing the unlikeable thing well. I love the way he was smiling and still outright flirting with Tinn even as he held a gun to Tinn. The writers will need to do some heavy lifiting to make him a likeable character. I supect we'll get the case of him still being unlikeable but Tinn softens his sharp edges, or he's soft edged with Tinn and still basically unlikeable with others...LOL... a bit of a Sherlock Holmes type...smart but can be abrasive and diabolical. Now that last scene...LOL. I wouldn't trust Charn at all. All I was thinking was..."don't you dare!" I think the preview is a fake out and he just trying to get a rise out of Tinn. I currently have 2 theories, 1) it wasn't the son but either his bodyguard or maybe even the politiican or 2) human trafficaking, either way baby girl saw something she shouldn't have! I watched this on IQIYI as well..I think it was a solid 1st ep, sorta crappy "Chain of Heart"-esque subtitles...LOL Welp just like with Chain of Hearts... Count me in.
