I think Jericho's right about Jean having had an abortion, but if she did, I don't think it was Alex, maybe someone after? The bleeding could be ripped from Dirty Dancing...remember Penny was bleeding and almost died after a botched abortion...Also that's def Tony, i think if the Kat scene where she says she like Alex comes first, I can see Jean taking action on Tony's flirtation and maybe regretting it later. Also...after talking to Nim about respecting her choices, having Army disregard Joe's concerns about losing his job if he's outed took away from the possible sweetness of the moment...smh...damnit Army.
