Previously, Gold Tier character data and other reward content was no longer available once the distribution period ended, but it will be accessible at any time once you join Platinum Tier.

The content here is the same as what has been delivered in the past for the Gold Tier, and there is no content exclusive to the Platinum Tier. So you don't have to be in this tier all the time.
You only have to pay once, and when you are done getting what you want, you can lower your Tier level again. If you leave it as it is, you will be billed again next month, so don't forget to do so. (Of course, if you want to donate for the purpose of supporting me, you are more than welcome to do so...)
If you are currently in the Gold tier and join the Platinum tier, you will only be charged for the difference. For more details on how this works, please refer to the official guide below.
