Chapter 19: Violet Rose

Then The purple lines started to spread all over his body and before he can even react, He disintegrated into nothingness...

"Beautiful...." My first time seeing my hatsu In action And beautiful is the word for describing it, the beautiful purple line glowing as they spread bringing with them a pure atmosphere of stillness, a smile crept ou to my face as I turned around and left leaving the silent room as no voice could be heard, not from the commentators nor the audience...

I left the 991-meter tower as I headed to my house, had lunch, and sat down to think back about the fight...

The first thing I should note down is that even though I didn't wear the weighted clothes which means I was at my top speed, I still needed 1 second to fulfill the condition of my hatsu which is not satisfying considering I'm much stronger than him but my hatsu depends mostly on my speed so if my speed was much faster I could've fulfilled the condition in less than a second though the thing keeping me from perfecting my hatsu the most is my low enhancement compatibility which makes my attacks less fatal than they could've been. And especially considering the risks of my hatsu which outweigh the benefits by quite a lot, for now that is.... But now I have to think about how to optimize the use of my hatsu and what kind of experiment I'll do on my next test subject...

--Violet Rose-- Once I activate the hatsu, a purple tattoo appears all around my arms and especially my hands as my fingernails turn purple.

-I have to set a number, that number is the multiplier and once I set the multiplier I have a timer of 5 seconds max to do as many strikes as possible using any part of my arms only.

-the target won't show any visible damage until the timer ended.

-all the damage that my attacks theoretically do will be multiplied with the number I set and will be inflicted on the target if a certain condition is met.

-each strike will leave a purple glowing line that will inflict damage only after the timer ends, If I hit the neck with the purpose of cutting the target's head then my hand will pass through the target leaving a purple line.

1-the condition is that depending on the multiplier, I'll have to do certain theoretical damage that I'll naturally know, if the damage I inflicted is lower than the required damage, then the overall damage multiplied will be returned to me.

Ex: I set a multiplier of 2, then I will be required to inflict a theoretical damage of 2000, if I inflict damage lower than 2000 then a 2000*2=4000 damage will be inflicted on me, on the other hand, if I succeed then all the damage will be inflicted on the target.

Ex: I set a multiplayer of 100, the damage required is 2000000 in max 5 seconds, failure = 2000000*100=20 million damage on me, if I succeed then the damage multiplied will be inflicted on the target.

2-The timer can only be lower or equal to 5 seconds not higher. The damage required will change depending only on the multiplier which means that the timer doesn't matter.

Ex: if I set a multiplier of 2, I'll have to inflict the same damage whether the timer is 1 second or 5 seconds.

3-once I activate my hatsu, in the event that the target successfully strikes me within the timer (what I subconsciously consider a strike), the ability backfires and all the accumulated damage is instead dealt on me instantly.

4-once I activate my hatsu, the only damage that counts is the one from the first target I strike, hitting anything else will leave no damage, I will need to wait until the timer ends.

5-the damage you deal depends on the defense of the target and the power of your strike and the area you strike.

Ex: against a non-nen user, one that I'll be able to kill without using Nen, if I use the ability with one fatal strike against the said person then I'll inflict infinite damage which means certain death after the timer ends.

Ex: against a nen user, for example, uvogin a high tier enhancer with his guard up and full defensive nen, and let's say we have a multiplier of 2, so I need to do a damage of 2000 and let's say each strike is to the neck, then each strike will deal a damage of 40 which means that I need to perform 10 successful attacks per second, this amount to a total of 50 attacks across 5 seconds to do the required damage of the lowest effective multiplier, which is unlikely to inflict fatal damage to the target.

In the case of a nen user in Zetsu state, a fatal attack is infinite damage except for some special cases (meruem, royal guards, and other creatures of the same level or above).

Now there are many things that make my hatsu's condition quite hard to fulfill as the Opponent won't just sit there and allow me to attack as much as I want unless I'm much faster as seen in the previous match, which means that in the span of 5 seconds I need to attack and avoid as defending isn't an option considering the third condition.

And there is the question of whether the multiplier 2 is capable of delivering enough damage to kill someone like uvogin tough I think its unlikely but considering that 2000 is the requirement for the multiplier 2 but there is no rule saying you can't go over the requirement, for example, if I can deliver 5000 damage to uvogin across the span of 5 seconds then it will be multiplied dealing a damage of 10000.

Also, I could've chosen a multiplier of 6 and still fulfilled the condition in my previous match considering his weak defense and the difference in strength between us, which means I'll be dealing a considerable amount of damage.

I just need to do as planned and my Hatsu should be complete...
