OGV Video Support!
Added 2025-05-22 00:42:59 +0000 UTCHey there, mod creators. Have you ever wanted to drop a video directly in the middle of your level? Maybe for a come scene that's too long to put in a sprite sheet? Well, now you can, the level creator supports playing raw OGV video files (Including sound)! β¨
This will give level creators more freedom to do wackier and more intensive things in their levels without increasing the file size too much!
Just drag and drop your OGV file into the level editor, and it should appear in the video tab. Then, you can hit the plus button! The video should appear as a yellow bar on your timeline!
I originally wanted the video indicator to be a complete yellow rectangular section, but Godot hasn't given me the ability to do that yet. π
