Hey everyone! Sorry for the long wait! We have a massive update for you. A lot has changed since the last version, and as we get closer and closer to the game's release, features are getting locked in and finalized.

Modding Tool 

One of the main things to discuss is our most significant and final overhaul of the note system. Now levels in mods have the ultimate freedom of placing notes wherever they want, whenever they want. No more having to try and match predetermined Beats.

This will make starting manually a bit harder, but the modding tool has been significantly upgraded to allow for the best possible modding experience. The modding tool is currently accessible in its project form on our GitLab server. You can get it here. (note that you will need to run the project in Godot in its current state, as we have not exported a build for Windows or Linux yet)

Simple document Asian and hotkey instructions for the modding tool can be found on the existing readme file. 

Mod Pack Support

Many people have been asking for the ability to create their own set of mods. As a result, the mod menu system has been reworked to act like the default levels' ACT system. 

This means you can store all your mods inside a folder and initialize it as a Modpack using a file called modpack.cfg.

After that, you can drop the individual levels in the folder. These should load automatically. 💖

Community Locale Contributions 

Thanks to work from our community members, we support newer locales such as Filipino, Italian, and Indonesian. Contributions for improving our local are now open to the public. Contact Kom#1337 on Discord for more information about joining the community locale team if you're interested.

Optimizations Everywhere

It's not always included in the changelog, but many major and minor bug fixes and optimizations have been done to make the experience much smoother as the game expands. If you're more interested in learning about these updates, check out the GitLab updates channel in the Discord server if you don't already.
