His early videos were him talking about somewhat niches bands and genres and the history of certain scenes based off his own anecdotes. The reason he pivoted and quit was because he couldn’t handle criticism and couldn’t refrain from saying super negative things about some of the bands he’d cover. Nobody wanted him to read Wikipedia articles, that was his decision because it would catch more eyes and cause him to be called out less for his horrible takes.

2025-01-12 20:19:41 +0000 UTCYeah in my experience people who say they hate eating, including myself, are very unhappy and are trying to either ask for help or in some way are trying to make themselves feel better from the competitive perspective of EDs. I go through phases with food too - just be proud whenever you manage to and don’t beat yourself up when it goes a little wonky!! <3

I had disordered eating for a while coming off a too strict diet and I used to say I hated eating/legit made the comment that I wanted a pill to replace my meals, just like Anatastia mentioned. Now it's a lot better, but I do go through phases of hating eating again, which is usually coupled with some body image issues (e.g. i think i look fat in the mirror and all the sudden eating seems laborious again). I can't speak for the majority of people, especially not for the particular people Anastasia is talking about, but I will say that her viewing it as like virtue-signaling makes me wonder if she's unaware of how an ED can affect people's perception of food like that (since she didn't treat it with the sensitivity I'd have thought she would've if she understood why some may say this).

I'm often watching a regular episode on YouTube and wanting to come watch the corresponding Nightz, and the collapsed list view of a Collection would really help me scroll through and match the episode date up without having to wait for the infinite scroll of the home page to load through all the thumbnails and comment previews if it's a real deep cut episode. thanks and love yall!! 💜

Actually my dad told me, in helping me with my ED, that he didn’t rly care about food when he was younger and just ate whatever he needed as fuel for his body, and that was quite helpful for me as in the mindset I was (still am to some extent) in was that eating = gluttony = failure. Idk, it probably wasn’t that deep for those ppl, but just wanted to say on the off chance.
