You can actually get autistics, of the kind formerly given Asperger's dxs, that're good at pretending to be neurotypical, or allistic, which is not-autistic, but you need to get us found young enough, and have accepting enough parents/family, that we don't get much, if any growing-up trauma. We definitely exist, because, hi, I'm one, but the pre-reqs are kind of rare, because the world is kind of really traumatic to grow up in, for weird kids.
