The wage thing is from a twitter thread a previous rules writer for GW made where he said that even though he was literally writing the rules of the game and the offshoot games, he was on 19k - less than the team in the shops made. there were other dodgy practices as well, i'll try to find the thread. The boycott thing is different, essentially GW are trying to make their own subscription service like disney+ and so have said anyone making anything that references their property (eg fan animations etc) will have it taken down. seeing as there's been fan videos on youtube for years, and that that's the way a lot of people got into the hobby, people are supposedly boycotting until they change the policy
