The Pencil Nebula from a 17" Scope

A few members of the astrophotography community are challenging astrophotographers to try their hand at processing the data from this telescope, and this was my image from the data. This was shot at nearly 3,000mm, so is highly magnified.
What you're seeing here is a supernova shockwave travelling through space!
