The sketching process always takes me the longest.
"Does this nose look right?"
"Can I make this panel look cleaner?"
"What layout lets the eyes flow across the page best?"
"FUCKING TREES"
Took me two weeks to sketch these pages, and now that I'm on the inking stage it only took me 2 days to ink 5 pages. Inking is so much faster and cathartic for me...
ANYHOO, I just have a couple more pages to ink, then comes the coloring and shading.
Takes longer than inking, but will still take way less time than the sketching did.
