Added 2021-06-29 14:33:30 +0000 UTCI want a really honest answer, you guys think I'm cheating myself with the prices of my commissions? I would like to know you're opinion

Wow, that was intense. You got a point there, since I started commissions I should have done a commission sheet, but, like I always forgot XD or I don't have time, having pending commissions right now or classes. I see that depending on how the demand is growing, that prices may grow. Thanks for you're opinion, maybe I need to take this more seriously cause is a work. I'll think about it, I'm still working on my own criticism. Thanks for you're opinion, helped a lot!

2021-06-29 21:27:18 +0000 UTCDefinitely a tough question but from a personal side I do believe you could charge more for your commissions. Hardest part is finding that middle ground of how much to charge for each work, the most basic way is figuring out your hourly cost for your work but another option could be to build out a commission sheet with more of a break down of how you price everything out. From there you can build out your base prices for the style of commissions Full colored/Fully shaded and if you wanted to keep a cheaper commission option, you could have a slot for sketches or black and white. With base prices built out you could build out your rules: Each base price includes 1 Giantess and 1 tiny anything past that would include an Addon cost that you could set so that it matches cost of work you are putting into it. Addons could be anything like (Background detail, additional characters, extra panels, really anything that causes your more work and effort). Again I think you could charge a fair amount more for your works, and I know some artists due so gradually updating the prices each year or after a certain point, but with how fast your commission queue fill up I believe the demand is there that people would be willing to pay more/commission so I definitely think it's something you could play around with.

2021-06-29 20:07:17 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, the market is ruthless. And in this particular period, of the pandemic, every action is weighed up. All of us fans would like to be able to sponsor every artist to the maximum, make this community more and more beautiful, great and wonderful. Unfortunately, the world is based on economy and reality and it is not possible to do so 😛 The only thing you can do is be honest with yourself, Average with others, evaluate your time, also consider the value of investors' money, and then decide. I know mine is a non-answer. But it's as supportive as possible, to encourage an artist from this beautiful community

Actually, you're right, the reason I don't change too much my prices is because I think they will no commissioned me cause there are other artists better than me with same price,,, like, that's the reason why I don't changed them, cause I'm not sure how people would react to the change

2021-06-29 15:25:59 +0000 UTCThis question is very much up to you too. From the time you put into every job, how much effort you put into doing it. If for you it is more a lucrative pastime or a real professional job. As far as I can see around, you're in line with the prices of many other artists. i speak for patreon because i don't know your prices well out of here. Of course it is undeniable that fame and experience influence prices. Being an up-and-coming is different from an artist who has been practicing for years in the field whose name is known by all. There is no right or wrong answer to this question. I don't think you're cheating. But the market is a difficult speech to face, there are those who bet on quality, some on the few but good, who only on making a name for themselves, etc. It is more a reflection of one's own
