I'm currently working on a new animation, probably will focus on it more intensely these following few days, but I've also started a few new illustrations that focus directly on the actual book scenes. As much fun as I have drawing these more abstract character showcases, I do need to work on my atmospheres, on my color work, on perspectives, mood, etc, so there's a LOT I gotta figure out and I do believe working on actual book scenes is gonna help me a lot there.
Also, once the books go to the professional editor in (I hope) early to late 2025, I'm going to start working on the covers, chapter illustrations, general book graphics, etc, and I do want to really nail down my painterly style and settle on something that's gonna work for an entire story.
You'll see that I've started experimenting more with brush strokes in some works I am yet to share and that's mostly what I have in mind. Overcomplicating is my worst enemy, I want to be able to capture the emotion, the mood, the "essence" of a moment, per se, which I'm not the best at doing right now, so I'm excited to slowly work on this alongside all of you!

I'm so glad hehe, I've got a lot more in store ❤️❤️ and yes!! That's actually what I've been doing, though for now mostly focusing on specific atmospheres and colors i would like to implement more in art 💗 yoo and the color pallets for cities are such a cool idea 😍 I have sort of done this when I was working on a few presentation pieces for Grimport (the ones you can see in my story info in insta highlights). Grimport is mostly like blue-ish/brown-ish and skies are more often yellow than blue due to pollution, but I do want to explore architecture of Grimport a bit more ♡ the colors are definitely gonna come in play there!

It would be good to study illistrators who focus on environmental design or in animated movies art books 👀✨ - Hhmmm, what about designing a pallet for the color of the city or cities?
