Fashion Scouts

One of the ideas I had for the Sailor Moon artbook was to assign each Sailor Scout a fashion designer and decorate their sailor uniform with the designer's brand. These were a couple of mockups for Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury, who I assigned Louis Vuitton and Guo Pei, respectively. 

I still like this idea and want to see this through, but these might not be the final poses. I'd like to put all the Sailor Scouts together in a group pic eventually, but I'm not sure how I want the group pic to come together. I might switch to portraits instead of full body so you can really see the patterns.

Oh, and the current sailor-designer pairups are:

• Sailor Moon x Louis Vuitton - I think the pattern is pretty iconic and I want to replace the little logos with some Sailor Moon logos.
• Sailor Mercury x Guo Pei - Based on Guo Pei's porcelain gown, a sailor suit decorated like porcelain just sounds cool as heck
• Sailor Venus x Burberry - With the Burberry plaid and Venus's orange/yellow color palette, I want to channel Cher from Clueless (her suit was made by Dolce & Gabbana but plaid isn't really their signature and also I heard they're a problem?)
• Sailor Mars x Prada - Prada has really been into this flame graphic recently, and Mars has fire powers
• Sailor Jupiter x Chromat - I'm not set on this one. I just think a cagelike look for the sailor suit would look super cool, and I guess it makes sense since Jupiter has electric powers and the cage will look like wires a little? Open to feedback 
• Sailor Saturn x Alexander McQueen - that one dress with the purple decaying flowers is just perfect because Saturn has powers related to destruction
• Sailor Uranus x Versace - even though Uranus is the navy blue sailor, her bow and hair are yellow so she's always associated with gold elements too - perfect for Versace
• Sailor Neptune x Balmain - I just love the Balmain patterning, and the pearls are relevant to Neptune's ocean powers 
• Sailor Pluto x Louboutin - This was my inspiration for this collection, her colors are black and red and imagining a signature Louboutin peekaboo red on the suit could make it really chic
• Sailor Chibimoon x Marine Serre - Marine is an upcoming brand who is recognizable by her crescent moon pattern. How can I not include a moon fashion pattern in this?

There are other designers I would love to explore with this idea too, so maybe I could do a round two at some point. If you have designers you'd like to see, let me know!
