Delta 1.7 RC: Retro 'Chievements

Hi Patrons!

Good news — Delta 1.7 is just about ready for release! EVEN BETTER NEWS — we also decided to start development on support for RetroAchievements!! RetroAchievements is now available as an Experimental Feature and has basic support for connecting your RA account and tracking achievements for NES, SNES, and N64 games. We even support Hardcore Mode! This will also be available for Patrons as an Experimental Feature in the App Store release of Delta 1.7, and we’ll be continuing to work on support for other RetroAchievements features like leaderboards as well as adding in the remaining consoles over the next few Delta updates.

We’ve also made several other improvements and bug fixes to our beta features in preparation for the 1.7 release, including fixes for keyboard support and the screenshot feature. There are too many other changes to list here, but you can find the complete list in the full release notes below. With that, we’re now preparing Delta 1.7 for launch!

Besides this Delta update, we also wanted to share one more thing. ICYMI, you all helped us raise $13,904 for The Trevor Project and Red Umbrella Fund, and we were able to donate $6,952 to each organization. Better yet, our donation to The Trevor Project has quadrupled thanks to the Atwood family — bringing our total contribution to $34,760!! So, we wanted to thank you again for helping us make a difference 💜
