Fel is such a kind one, he gifted Mao an new outfit and for once Mao is not naked (except the short moment in the beginning of the expedition he got a tiny piece of loincloth which torn apart after landing in the latex pit). Maybe despite the look of the suit, it gives Mao all the protection he needs to face the dungeon boss or it's a critical magic item for Mao to tackle the boss. Or perhaps Fel is just giving Mao a staff uniform of his club in prior, knowing he stood no chance against the dungeon boss...😈
