It's another Pokemon Battle Royale with Lockstin! This time, with the Ultra Beasts!
The release date for this one is a bit further out, and we're working on other Somethings at the same time - so we'll post about those soon! For now, I'll leave you with some Production Insights:
Ed (Funymony) has been a great help with these videos; he's been handling backgrounds and coloring and sometimes helping with lineart and animation. Our process usually goes like this:
1) Write the script
2) I make the animatic (I almost always just skip the storyboard step and go straight into animatic based on the script)
3) I break the project's animatic into multiple files (about 1 file every minute or 2 of animation) and pass them to Ed to start on backgrounds.
4) When I finish all the animatic files I go back to file 1 and start doing lineart (and sometimes establishing character colors along the way)
5) Once BGs and lineart are done, I, and/or Ed and/or Lollergator work on coloring in what's left of the lineart! I usually do mouth syncing around here too if I didn't do it during the animatic.
6) Then I do the rest of the sound design and editing and compiling everything together.
7) Then I compile the Patreon Supporter List/Credits, upload the final video to Youtube, do the metadata and subtitles then the thumbnail!
AND VOILA. SEVEN EASY STEPS.
