Demon Tale July Update

Happy 4th of July any fellow Americans, and anybody celebrating independence! XD

In this month's update, I've added the base functionality for area navigation, added the two previously mentioned enemy characters to the game, and changed the background aesthetic a bit, with more changes to come.

Enemies no longer spawn in the courtyard. Now, you travel straight ahead to get to the dryad, to the right to get to the water jelly, and to the left to get to the fire jelly. Obviously, I'll be refining those areas, as well as the transitioning between them with time.

The new enemies themselves have their initial set of unique motions. They can also mount the player in the same way you've been able to do to enemies so far.   

Today, I've also started implementing the bonus content for higher tier subscribers. So to start, higher tiers get bonus controls, which include being able to switch the player character between the available girl models in the game, as well as control when chompers spawn among other things.

I've also made it so that the mouse locks when the keyboard scheme is selected. Thanks for the heads up Orthrus.

Edit: Forgot to mention, you can go back to the hub area by going to the options menu and selecting "Exit Area". Furthermore, an oversight; the mouse may not lock to the screen right away. You will need to select the keyboard option in the menu before it will do so.

Files have just gone out. If you missed them this month, you can catch them again next month.

Thanks for the heads up. These early model swaps are of course a WIP, along with other things like camera, and backgrounds. Made an edit to address exiting an area, as well as the mouse fix. I'll rectify some of these things in the next update.

the Camera needs work, its to close and its not locking with the mouse so the way you move the mouse isn't always the same way the camera moves.

Firstly, for anyone with PS controller instead of Xbox. I just found this software called “DS4Windows” to make PS controller act as Xbox and vice versa. It’s helpful here. Secondly, first 4 characters keep the pink tail when switching character instead of their tail color or no tail(for dryad). The tail have shadowy effect. It looks like she has 3 tails when moving.(or does she actually have 3 tails?) I noticed blonde character has 2 tails. It’s not possible to go back to castle after entering another area without restarting the game. Displaying the castle in one direction as a background to identify the way home would look cool. I assume there would be mini map or something at some point for directional purposes in the future. Thirdly, the camera feels too close sometimes. I would love a zoom out option. Lastly, the castle looks magnificent now. Literally spent like 10 minutes looking at the castle before checking everything else. Oh also the back side of the castle is a little above ground level that the player can walk into the wall. Or maybe the wall is just not solid there. Great work as always.
