Keep your cards close to your chest this month, especially in regards to your career. You are making huge advancements behind the scenes, and taking them public too early will be to your detriment. 

Remember that the hunters remain vigilant, but you were born to outwit them. 

Taurus: Spinning Wheel

For centuries, fables have been told of maidens spinning straw into gold. The most wonderful thing about those stories....is that they are kinda true. This one piece of machinery allows for raw materials to become something practical, and practical things are worth money.

We all have an idea that can be spun into something to bring us riches, but not all of us have the dedication and patience to do the work.

Gemini: Grave

First impressions matter - isn't that the saying Gemini?

But what about your last impression? How does it rank? Even higher I would wager. 

Your grave is the place where you spend most of your existence, and your epitaph tells the world what sort of person you were......and many times you don't get to write it yourself. 

Now is a time for solitude and self reflection. You should be contemplating what sort of mark you are leaving on the world. If you aren't happy with the result, there is still time to change it. 

Cancer:  Crown

Look in the mirror and straighten your crown, Cancer.

You've been walking along a rocky path lately, and all those bumps and twists has shaken your confidence. 

When this happens, it's in your best interest to build your own confidence back up, instead of relying on the validation of others. Putting your own betterment first is important, as it teaches others how you expect to be treated.....and honestly, loving yourself just feels good. 

Leo: Pot & Perfume

What sweet smelling concoction are you brewing up this month Leo?

Scent, memory and emotion are all intertwined with each other in a powerful way. A whiff of perfume can remind us of loves lost. A stew simmering on the stove can bring back happy memories of cooking with grandmother on Sunday morning. 

You have reached a point in your life where it is time to relive the past. Honouring where you came from is the first step in reaching where you want to go. 

Virgo: Poison

Does poison ever have a benefit, Virgo?

I'd argue it does. Poisonous plants teach us to stay away from them, and without human interference they thrive. This same idea works with venomous animals, who have a natural (and effective) protection mechanism against predators.

This month it is really important that you get your defences up, and if predatory people keep pushing you, it's completely OK to strike back. Passivity doesn't always work, and pretending it does can get you hurt. 

Libra: Anchor

Are you feeling weighed down Libra?

Other peoples expectations can feel a lot like dragging around an old anchor. Every step you take, the anchor has to come with you. At some point, by not letting go of the chain, dragging that thing around becomes just as much of your fault, then theirs. 

This month, work on dropping that chain and seeing how you feel. Create your own expectations that stem from your deepest desires.

Scorpio: Tower

How long have you been hiding in your fortress of solitude, Scorpio?

In fairytales, the beautiful young maiden is often kidnapped and held in confinement, just waiting for someone to rescue her. I wonder however, why she never seemed to rescue herself? Maybe she secretly loved feeling isolated from the trauma of the outside world. Her situation may not be perfect, but she at least knows what to expect.

But here's the thing, if you choose being alone out of fear of the negative, you're going to miss out on all of the wonderful things in life. 

It's time to climb down the side of the building. 

Sagittarius: Moth

Are you ready to transform, Sagittarius?

Moths are amazing insects. They go through four stages of metamorphosis in their life time. In the final stage, they emerge from their chrysalis and fly away.....but getting to that point is a lot of work for them. 

The same can be applied to us. We don't just wake up one day a different person. It happens little by little. It requires dedication and persistence. 

You will get to that point too, just remember that you are more capable than you give yourself credit for.

Have you forgotten about the beauty in the mundane aspects of life? As humans we are often pushed to keep going. To remain stimulated and overworked, and while you usually thrive under those conditions, even you can't keep it up forever.

Spend a little time this month coming up with your own tea ritual. Set the table, arrange a bouquet of flavours and blends, turn off the tv and sit with yourself. 

Aquarius: Memento Mori

If you keep waiting to get started your life will be over before you've lived Aquarius.

When you die, what masterpieces do you want to leave behind? Perhaps it's a work of art or a book. Or maybe raising a family is what you want your legacy to be. Whatever it is, remember that it is yours, and there is value in that. 

I wish I had more for you than just that, but sometimes the most effective message is the most simple.

Pisces: Grave (be sure to read Gemini as well).

It's time to finally put something to rest, Pisces.

Letting go of a situation that we are deeply attached to is hard, but not everything is meant to last forever. If you need to revisit the grave of things that once were, it's ok to do that once and a while. You can decorate those memories with garlands of flowers, but don't stay in the realm of the dead too long, or you might get buried there by accident.
