I do enjoy what I've seen thus far from Ernst, Theresa, and Frederica... as well as the whole Federacy itself, the "ideal co-existence" nature of it & how the adults seem to be decent human beings... but I'll withhold full trust from both Ernst & the nation itself as secrets still need to be shared, plus I'm afraid Shin's group will be used to further other people's goals, whether militaristic or political. I swear, these kids need the peace & quiet promised by the Federacy, so fingers crossed this country doesn't fuck them over!
ALL HAIL BLOODY REGINA! Seems like I've joined the ranks amongst everyone else, it's time to worship Queen Lena, cause I'm so damn happy to see she's found herself fellow supporters to work with, not just the cooperation of her new unit... and that black military uniform, with that red hair highlight, is just too damn good! Our girl knows her worth & it's great, makes it hard for her superior officer to talk down/back to Lena, much less take direct action against her, but only time will tell how long this will last.
Part 2's begun & I cannot wait to see what it'll have in store for me, the new Opening Song already has my interest (both visually & vocally) so fingers crossed the Ending Song(s) will slap as well!

Holy shit, I appreciate the clarifications, really does help me out to better understand that plot point... I did slightly pick it up, noticed a couple details as it went on, but I wasn't confident enough to voice my opinion on potential "what-ifs" so you have my thanks! Rei really did save the day, man... that's honestly impressive! Ooo, I can't wait to see the world building & character development then, always enjoy both, especially for a series as good as this!

2023-02-04 12:14:44 +0000 UTCIf you’re curious as to how Spearhead was able to survive, it’s explained better in the LN compared to the anime. The latter mainly shows tidbits here and there, that if you don’t pick up, you’ll just miss them. Basically, after Rei was ‘killed’ he was able to transfer his consciousness to another Legion unit - the Dinosauria that you see in this episode. He followed the Spearhead squadron up to the point where we see them ‘die’ in episode 11. Rei (who had managed to regain his sanity) saved Spearhead from death and carried them all the way to the Federacy of Giad, before eventually dying this time. This cour will be covering volume 2/3, and it’ll bridge the gap in-between the final chapter and epilogue in volume 1. So, in a way, you’re sorta still at the ‘prologue’ of the series. Expect some world building and quite a bit of character development for the cast.
