Not all childhood friends are on good terms, it seems, but I will say, the disconnect between the real & fake personalities for Ran was very entertaining! I do wonder if there might be more reasons behind Ran's dislike for Lum, beyond stealing the dude she feel in love with... though that's still fairly good motivation to pursue non-dangerous revenge over.
Seems like we'll be dealing with Lum's planet next time, considering that "Alien Tiger" creature that bears striking resemblance to the clothing patterns for her race... maybe they're a deity or even her pet?
