Jiu-Jiu & Hongqiao are exactly what Shouxue needs, more people who truly care about her (not just Gaojun & the Flower Princess), expressing concerns & compassion beyond what their positions dictate... it is these bonds of friendship that she'll treasure & never abandon, that'll help release her from the suffering of isolation. I cannot lie, it still makes me emotional knowing they understand her true identity & will carry the secret to their graves... it's such a meaningful moment.
The Skylark Princess request was certainly a notable, emotional aspect of this episode, but for me, personally, beyond what I've said, the other highlight definitely falls to the revelation that the Raven Consort's actually a priestess of the Goddess Niao Lian, according to Xue Yuyong... Only slight progress was made on understanding what Shouxue meant by the "like oil & water" comment, but it's just so much fun learning more about her position & the supernatural aspects of this series!
