1138 Repair Services is a small but well-equipped droid repair shop located on level 1138 of the Galactic Capital. With a focus on quality and efficiency, 1138 Repair Services specializes in repairing, reprogramming, and upgrading all types of droids, from astromech droids to protocol droids. The shop is run by expert technicians who are knowledgeable and passionate about their work and are dedicated to providing their customers with the best possible service.
The shop is located in a busy area, surrounded by a variety of businesses, making it easily accessible for those in need of droid repairs. The interior is clean and well-lit, with a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of room for customers to wait while their droids are being worked on. The repair bays are equipped with the latest tools and technology, allowing the technicians to diagnose and fix even the most complex problems quickly and efficiently.
In addition to repairs, 1138 Repair Services also offers a wide range of upgrades and modifications for customers who are looking to improve the performance of their droids. From custom programming and memory upgrades to advanced sensor packages and improved power systems, the shop has everything a droid owner could need to keep their beloved companion in top shape.
The expert droid technician running 1138 Repair Services is named Nivviks. Nivviks is a cyborg, a mixture of organic and mechanical parts, and is of the species Zabrak. Nivviks is about 35 standard years old and has a passion for fixing and upgrading droids.
Nivviks was once a highly skilled mechanic, but after a tragic accident that left him with severe injuries, he underwent cybernetic implants to save his life. The implants turned out to be a boon to his career, as they gave him an enhanced understanding of technology and a heightened ability to repair and upgrade droids. Nivviks quickly rose to prominence as one of the best droid technicians around and eventually opened his own repair shop, 1138 Repair Services.
Nivviks is a gruff and no-nonsense individual but has a deep love and respect for droids. He's also a bit of a perfectionist and will often spend countless hours working on a single droid, refusing to stop until it's running perfectly.
Despite his gruff exterior, Nivviks has a soft spot for droids that have been mistreated or neglected and will often go out of his way to help them. He's also fiercely protective of his customers and employees and has been known to take on entire gangs of criminals single-handedly to protect his shop and the droids in his care. Overall, Nivviks is a unique and fascinating character and a valuable resource for anyone in need of expert droid repairs.
The players are hired by a wealthy aristocrat who needs their help to retrieve a droid QT-3P that has gone missing. They suspect that the droid is stolen by one of their rivals because of the sensitive information it contains.
The droid was indeed stolen, but "QT" got away from its captors before it was too late. However, the droid was badly damaged in the escape and was in need of urgent repairs. Luckily, Nivviks found QT in time and took it to his workshop for repairs.
By following various clues, the PCs can find out that the droid is at Nivvik's repair shop, but so did the rival's henchmen. The PCs need to defend the workshop until the repairs are completed. Will they be able to complete the mission and restore QT to its rightful owner, or will the cute little droid fall into the wrong hands?
