Update - Week #25

Roughly 4 more days until the release of our next game, Quickie: Victoria!

This week we revealed February's heroine, Victoria, to our Patrons. Addict and Enthusiast tiers received a few WIP sketches/renders, with one more still to come over the next few days.

We'll also be trying to post more on Twitter, so if you haven't already, please consider following us

CREDITS REMINDER

If you are an Addict, please message me if you'd like to have your name different to your Patreon name in the credits. Cut off date for this is the 28th of February (this Wednesday).

ADVERTISING/PROMOTION IDEA

When we first started making Quickies, we thought about releasing Premium builds for free after some time to help promote/advertise our Patreon. The idea is described below:

Before we consider doing this, we thought we'd run it by you all to get your opinions. Please let me know (comment below or private message) whether you're for or against this release. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Update - Week #25

Can't wait for the new release, but maybe be careful with ads and if they'll make people happy or not, since I don't think people who want to support you will do that after they get interrupted in the middle of the game with an ad, so be extra careful how would you implement them 👍

I think that advertisement idea is a bit between a rock and a hard place - on one hand releasing the premium versions after a few months would definitely bring you more attention, but I can imagine a small handful of patrons, mostly those giving money just to get premium builds, would cut their support and opt to "wait it out" instead. On the other hand you are going to run into a few people who will post the premium builds somewhere anyway, so regardless, the builds are going to be public on way or another. Just my two cents, hope this helps c:

Yeah, if you see a pattern, go for it! I want you guys to have as much support as possible!

If you analyze a little the patreon growth rate you'll find the perfect balance for your free/premium releases :)

Discontinued

For me, I understand the reason for it but you need to keep some instinctive to keep people interested. I would say open up a few, say maybe every 3-4th one and the specials keep for patreon only people. Let a few out but keep many of them here.

Don't release the premium versions for non-paying folks. It's how you folks make your bread and butter. I'm a cheap-type and I know that I'd look for any way I had to save some money, even if I had to wait for premium versions of games.

What I see is that when you release the the first quickie game, it was release with the premium build, and yet you gain multiple patrons from that. People then supported you guys and wanted to see more of it. What id say is continue with the idea for advertising your game. If you see that you gaining less supports, then just continue making games with different builds (premium, fan, etc.) like how you’ve guys have been doing.

I think the promotion idea is bad since ... as much as a fan I am, I pretty much just became a patron to see the premium scenes right away. I think you'd lose a lot of potential clients and money if you put that loophole. I personally got impatient because of my lack of sex games. As a teen I was very cheap and always patiently waited for things to come out months or years after but now with money. Some of it I pay to get. ... Not sure if that means anything but. If you put it out for free. There's kinda no point in getting premium. More people would play yes but. You'd get those premium scenes recorded and sent online to porn sites much quicker and more easily which in the end would create less income with patient people or people who just don't pay. Teens don't know or care to support or pay for content. Some are desperate but. Most are cheap. Don't have the way, whatever. So. ... At least. That's what I believe.
