Update - Week #23

NEW GOAL: ANDROID SUPPORT

As mentioned in a previous weekly update, we’ve noticed a lot of you play our games on mobile using third party software. We’ve now added a new $5000 goal where we’ll officially support Android to hopefully make the mobile experience a lot better. An apk file will be available for Patrons with every new Quickie release when this goal is reached.

FULL-TIME!

Our first full-time week starts today! Thank you all again for getting us to this point!! Just to make things clear, here’s what we have planned moving forward:

• As mentioned in a previous weekly update, we’ll be working on a design document to explain/showcase our idea for the full dating-sim game. We’ll be postponing the full-time poll until this is done.
• We feel a full dating-sim is essential to expanding and completing the current Quickie universe, and the growth of this Patreon. That being said, we’ll be replacing our second full-time poll option with an option proposed by our Discord users. The new option will be: “We continue working on Quickies like we have been, introducing a few more characters with roughly the same amount of content each month, but will also work on a big dating-sim on the side to get it to an alpha/playable state. When alpha is reached, we’ll consider transitioning to working on the dating-sim exclusively until it’s done.”
• We love working on our Quickies. So much so that we’ve invested all of our spare time (outside of our previous full-time jobs) into making a release each month. However, we’ve noticed a lot of fatigue recently (especially during the last couple of months), so now we’re full-time, we’ll be making a few adjustments to our work hours to be maintainable. The main changes are to have at least one day off during the weekend and aim for 8 hour work days (no more than 10 hours a day unless it’s very necessary). There will be more content than previous months, but we think this change is important to mention incase some of you might be expecting an unrealistic amount of content now that we’re full-time.
  

When starting on Patreon, we didn’t imagine we’d have the opportunity to work full-time on the 23rd week. Thanks for another amazing week and for the awesome support!
